The student:
can describe two subtopics related to the field of New Testament research (ET1,2,3);
can formulate relevant research questions on the base of recent leading publications in the field (ET1,2,3).
can investigate introductory questions and/or theological outlines of an early Christian text according to the methods of the field
Study of specific literature related to the project that guides the student toward the thesis topic and further explores the research area. The literature to be studied will be determined by mutual agreement.
Students are to write a reading report concerning a specific topic from the field of New Testament research and a paper on introductory questions and theological outlines of a particular New Testament book, one of the apostolic fathers, one of the early Christian apologetics, or one of the New Testament apocrypha.
